Fun Day 2009

Every year in July the Hall Committee hold a “Fun Day” in the village to raise funds for the maintenance of the Hall.

This year the Fun Day was held on Saturday 11 July. It was as usual well attend and enjoyed by all.

The Village  Hall

The Village Hall is a valuable resource well used and appreciated. It provides a venue for a wide range of activities: from the local pantomime to painting classes: film nights to fancy dress parties. It is managed by a committee of local people.

The high point of each year is the Fun Day which in 2010 also included a festival of real ale.

Fund Day 2010 was held on a very pleasant sunny and dry Saturday the 17 July. There were events and activities throughout the day that would have engaged everyone - from the youngest to the oldest.
