What's on

We are people in the Skenfrith community working to create a website which gives locals and visitors information about people, places and events. You will find information about village activities and St. Bridget's Church, how to use the Parish Hall and services at Norton Baptist Church.  We welcome visitors and contributions from other groups and individuals who live and work in this beautiful part of Wales.  We want you to explore this web site and to contact us with ideas, comments and requests for more detailed information.

Every summer weekend you can ... walk along the river ... climb the hills...

reflect in the quietness of St. Bridget's church .... eat an icecream or buy fresh bread and cakes in the Community Shop ... explore Skenfrith Castle ....or come to a village event ....

Guided tours of around one hour are available with coffee and tea for visiting groups (minimum 6 people).  Why not book a fascinating trip for you and your friends or family by contacting us through the website.  Guide books and postcards for sale.  Suggested donation £5 per person (children free).  Morning coffee and a delicious lunch can be ordered at the Bell Inn, just a short walk away.

The Church is open every day; why not bring a picnic, spend quiet moments in this lovely sacred space, walk along the river and enjoy the wonderful view of the encircling hills?
